Is Sketchfab working on 3M support? It seems like good and open format to share more meta data with files, like color.

It's not planned at the moment. There are plenty of other formats that support (vertex) color: OBJ, PLY, VRML...
I’m trying to import a object with translucent materials, but it would seem that 3D Builders 3MF files aren’t supported, I tried all other supported files, but translucency is always just turned white.
Is there a work around for this?
