Annotations do not close on touch screens

Hi everyone!

I am experiencing an issue with annotations when using sketchfab on touch screens.
It seems like annotations do not disappear when a model is rotated with touch gestures, contrary to mouse interaction. I have read in the forum that this is apparently intended behavior, and annotations will only close when the user clicks somewhere.
However, the problem is that a click is most of the time not registered and interpreted as rotation, as far as I can tell. I have to click more than 10 times to manage to close an annotation. I have tested this with multiple devices and models. I have the feeling it appears a little less on faster machines.
Is there a workaround for this? Maybe an option to activate closing annotations with rotation, or anything else to make annotations usable on touchscreens.

Hmm, I can’t reproduce that. Can you share the model URL where you experience this issue?

Thank you for your reply.

It happens to me on any model but only on touch screens.
It seems to be an issue of what is registered as a click.
If I pay a lot of attention on making an extremely fast and soft click,
it is more likely that the annotation disappears, but still does not always work.

I can’t reproduce this on iPhone 12 but will forward it to our web team.
