Embed / Add model viewer to Facebook page

(Mawilbolou) #1

Hi there...

Mayb e this is a stupid question, but is it possible to add the Model viewer to a facebook page post?

Yep, we do it all the time here: https://www.facebook.com/Sketchfab/

Just copy and paste the model URL into your post, it will automatically become an embed.

For details and troubleshooting, see

Dear Scatchfab,

I embed the link of the scatchfab model, but it doesn't appear first, but just after I click on the post. Is that possible that the model will appear immidiatel on facebook? Also is the spinning option will work on Facebook? If yes how?

Thanks
Laszlo

Hi Laszlo,

Have you tried clearing Facebook's cache with their debug tool? https://help.sketchfab.com/hc/en-us/articles/205642585-Facebook#cache

Note that it won't change existing posts.

Many thanks it works, now the model appears immidiatly. On scatchfab page if type autospin command then the model will spin around, I wanted to ask if is this autospinnig can be applied on facebook as well?

Ah sorry, I missed that part of the question

At the moment, Facebook doesn't support our URL parameters like that, sorry!
