[ENDED] Sketchfab January Challenge: Low Poly Fantasy Island

I LOVED this challenge so much!
Gave me the opportunity to expand my 3D Art skills to a level of detail I never tried - the lowest possible .

Here’s the result, what do you think of that?

Was a fun challenge, nice to try a style once in a while that doesn’t need normal maps and rely more on just modeling and colors.

Your models transported us to some magical places. We really enjoyed your creativity and the colorful worlds and stories that you created. :desert_island:

And the winners are...

1st Place:

“The colours, the composition, the concept - everything works for me. I enjoyed admiring this from afar as well as exploring all the thoughtful details.” - Tom (@nebulousflynn )

“Really cute model, everyone on it seems to be enjoying themselves.” - Jonathan (@kryik1023)

“This piece is very clean and charming. It has a fun theme and the color palette really pops.” - Chris (@christophs)

“Creativity is the only way to stand out! And this “cereal island” is a perfect example, pushing the rules to the limit with only 40K poly and an amazing design!” - Geoffrey (@geoffreymarchal)

2nd Place:

“Super beautiful scene about a Lighthouse keeper sharing his home with seagulls, the composition of the islands with these palette colors match perfectly.” - Kevin (@KevinCayuelaBorg)

"So imaginative and with a lovely attention to detail, I love that even the ground of the sea was modelled and offers stuff to discover. " - Phil (@saphires)

“The flat colours, stylized gradients and colour palette got me interested, the many cute details and easter eggs were all nice surprises to discover.” - Tom (@nebulousflynn)

3rd Place:

“This is a wonderful piece. Reads really well from afar and rewards you with small attention to detail as you zoom in. Also really enjoy the aesthetic. There’s a lot to explore here.” - Chris (@christophs)

“I LOVE THIS SCENE. The colors are dreamy and I’m endlessly turning it around to see more details. It almost looks like it is made out of paper. And the little rowboat trailing behind the island? - Abby (@abbyec)
