A question: about 3d model, do I have to join/merge all meshes in one before uploading it?

no you don't have to.
export as obj, pack the textures and the obj +mtl in a zip and upload it.
had around 400 parts and sketchfab didn't mind :smile:

just have a suggestion. what if you have it so that a translucent model of a ghost emerges from the top window and out through the pumpkin's left eye?

I tried to import model, but I've a problem with material (no texture, only simple diffuse material)... :confused:

In Blender, I exported the model as .obj, then uploaded a zip file with file.obj + file.mtl

In materials tab on sketchfab 3d settings I see all materials, but only orange it's set.

go in your options
(settings - 3d options)
materials(there should be a drop down with more than 1)
select the material you like and add the texture with diffuse there again (if it's not online go to diffuse - klick the box with the color - manage textures - upload) and add it again.

I have no texture... so I selected each material and set right color.

Is it possible import color direct from exported object?

not that i know of. but you can just add the color code, they should be the same in every program
(that c4c4c4 in the lower part of your image)
so you still keep the exact same color.

or just create a texture with that color.

I added color (yes, the color code is the same :wink: ). Next step, I have to learn to use textures :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I believe there may be an exporter for blender from sketchfab.... lemme check....

A little update... I modified roofs and tried to add a wood fence, but I don't feel so much. I'll try with stone :wink:

if u are exporting with the sketchfab exporter, check if u can bake lights. otherwise your window lights won't go through :smile: its a great feature

This is a render, for WIP... I don't think that in sketchfab model I'll be able to repeat these light effects.

maybe not the glare, but definitely the orange lights
