Help with turning on and off of layers

Without getting super deep, I need to make a truck viewable in a 3D space on a web site and have the option to turn on and off the camper shell. I built a super crude model just for illustration purposes (screen shots). Anyone have experience with this.? I don’t necessarily need help doing it but possibly pointing me in the right direction. Thanks
