Labs Experiments - Gif Exporter + Save View issue

(Ivanix88) #1

Hi. I have been trying to export the animation of some of my models to GIF format with the Labs Experiments, but I'm having some issues. The model appears very zoomed and it can't be seen properly (for example, it's zoomed to the face and I can't see the body). Is there a way to fix this? For example, using the default view set with the Save View button.

If not possible, is there any other way of exporting it into a video or something similar (aside from recording the actual screen)?

Edited: I also found with my lastest model that I'm unable to generate a thumbnail of the current view if the model has an animation. No matter which second I press the Save View, it always shows the start of the animation. Is it intended to be like this? It apparently works if I set it by default to Static Pose, but I would like to have the animation as default.

Hmm, @mauricesvay I'm having trouble getting the GIF generator to work at all. It gets to 1% rendering, then throws errors.

I believe the zoom issue is related to recent changes to the screenshot API. I'll have a look when I can. I'll report here when it's fixed.

The issue should be fixed now:

Yes, it works excellent now, thanks!
