Yep, you should be able to access anisotropy with the Viewer API just like any other material channel.

material.channels.Anisotropy.enable // boolean
material.channels.Anisotropy.factor  // number 0.0 to 1.0
material.channels.Anisotropy.direction  // number 0.0 to 1.0
material.channels.Anisotropy.texture  // texture (optional)
material.channels.Anisotropy.flipXY// boolean

Direction and texture are mutually exclusive.
