Need help with weird screen dimming

bug-report

(Lordtrilobite) #1

Some of my models have a weird bug(?) where the 3D window will become slightly dim when I do not move the mouse. When I interact with the model or move the mouse the 3D window will become bright like normal again. It's really annoying for viewing since I don't continually move the mouse and the 3D window keeps switching from bright to dim.

Here are two links of models where I have this problem:

Horse Humerus by Olof Moleman on Sketchfab

These are my most recent models, but this problem also now happens on some of my older models where it didn't happen before.

Hi @lordtrilobite,

we're aware of the issue and are working on a 'hotfix', which means we'll release it as soon as the fix is ready. I'll ping you when it's done.

That's great to hear! Thanks.

Hi lordtrilobite,
I have the same trouble. I found out that it was due to a weird behaviour of the post processing filter "sharpness".
As I deactivated the "sharpness" (set it on OFF) the viewer became bright again.

The fix is online, the problem shouldn't appear anymore.

Yes my models view normally again. Thanks for the quick response!
