I’ve been working on a model that I’ve uploaded two versions of. The issue is that a newer version that is significantly lighter (about 40% less faces) performs somewhat noticeably slower (ie. less smooth navigation) than the earlier heavier version. Any idea why this would be?

Sorry, I should have mentioned that both models were uploaded identically, using the SU uploader with the “preserve component hierarchy” unchecked. Also, the only changes I made to the two versions was to decimate the heavier one. All materials, etc. are essentially unchanged…
