3D Scanning for Games and VFX Vol.1 (free)
By jeffreyianwilson

I have decided to do one last scanning tutorial before I move on to a different discipline focusing my efforts towards a passion project I've been working on for years. I considered this tutorial largely experimental, there are some glaring errors and a misjudgment of software usage which I have corrected. In all it's a solid series, you wont be wasting your time but it's a bit flawed so I have decided to give it away for free and work on a new tutorial which is much more comprehensive and uses much more accurate, production proven techniques I think I've finally mastered over the last year. Anyone who purchased this tutorial will get a free coupon for the new one being released on 9/5/2016.

Enjoy and thank you!
Jeff

Please note, video 06 - Panoramic HDR Capture has some glaring errors so I have omitted it from the collection.

Join Gnomon on Thursday, June 2nd, at 7:00 PM for an evening with Alex Alvarez, and discover his tried-and-tested processes for creating detailed and photo-real natural 3D environments. Alex will also offer an in-depth look at Agisoft Photoscan and describe how to photograph, process, and clean up natural assets such as rocks, cliff faces, logs, and trees for digital scenes. A 30-minute Q&A session with Alex will round up the evening at 9 PM. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to journey through Alex Alvarez’s process from initial concept through to final image. As someone who just discovered photogrammetry a couple weeks ago, let me say this: I've been searching all over for something like this. Thank you!

James Busby wrote a detailed tutorial on scanning reflective surfaces and shared with everyone. At the end of the tutorial there is a link to download the scene of the lesson.
A big thank you James!
