Hello,
Does anyone know if there is any way of reorganizing a scanned texture so it will “make more sense”. I know that once you apply it on the scanned object it fits perfectly , but what if I want just the texture is there any software i can enter the texture to so it will reorganize? or any other way anyone know of that might be a solution?

Hello,
Standard workflow is :

  1. Do a retopology & UV layout on your scanned model, so you can “organize” texture space as you want
  2. Import it back in your 3D Scanning software to reproject the texture.

You can also use software like Wrap or Mari to transfer texture from one model to another.
