Sitting in 32m of water is the wreck of the cargo vessel SS Thistlegorm. At 138m long, 20m high and 17m wide scanning the wreck in Egypt's Red Sea was always going to be a challenge.
Add in the complex cargo of trucks, ammunition, aircraft spares, lorries and motorbikes - all arranged over two decks, the site was huge. The survey was to be scaled and GIS referenced too.
See http://thethistlegormproject.com for the full details of just how much was covered.

The story has been covered by the BBC, Times, Guardian and others worldwide.
