Lesson 2, Texture Analysis homework. ‘Uncomfortable’ recommends your first texture should be crumpled paper, in order to draw shadows rather than lines.
I actually found this to be harder than expected. Crumpled paper gives so many different values of shadow, I’m not sure how to represent the texture without just having huge blocks of black and huge blocks of white.
Has anybody else tried the crumpled paper texture? If so would you share your results? Or maybe if I’m lucky the teacher would give an example?
I’ll be trying other textures tomorrow, which I think I’ll have a much easier time with.
