Texture resolution compression problem

Hi guys! I am currently developing a product configurator with sketchfab and I’m running into some issues with texture quality. I tried to use the viewer api functions (addTexture and updateTexture) to change textures at runtime via cors enabled images. In both cases the resolution of the texture files gets reduced too much. If I upload my textures manually within the sketchfab 3d editor interface everything works as expected. Is there a way to turn off the image compression on textures (not normals)?


if you use updateTexture and addTexture there is no “image compression”, at most we limit resolution but that won’t lead to compression artifact.

Could you provide screenshots, exemple of texture or a jsfiddle that reproduce the bug ?
