I like creating environments and 3D assets for games. I like the aesthetics of Pokémon, Zelda Link’s Awakening and RPG top down adventures. I’ve always wanted to create toy like models, but at the same time add a bit of realism using PBR. However it’s proving to be too difficult for me to get it right.
How can you describe the following models? What style defines them? What are the most important aspects to achieve this look? I don’t know the correct mix between realism and soft proportions, so any ideas on how can I improve?
