Uploading a colored sculpt

I really need some help here. I feel like I've been all over the internet trying to figure out how to upload a painted sculpt from sculptris but for the love of me I can't fiure it out. Do I have to render it. Is there some crucial step i'm missing? My point is I really need some help working this out. If you have any idea what to do please help.

Hi there!
I assume you're not painting on uvs but on vertex colors?
If Sculpris handles polypaint the same way ZBrush does you have to convert it into a different format using for example MeshLab.
Afaik the exported obj doesn't save vertex colors in a proper way. The vertex colors of a ZBrush mesh are saved as comments in the top lines of the obj file.
But MeshLab can interpret those into proper vertex colors and you can save a file format (like fbx) that properly stores them :smile:
