This problem has been reported and will be resolved next week. In the meantime you can try my trick to lower the height of the camera.It is in my last answer here.

how can i do that on the vive?
i don’t have a rift.

I don’t have HTC vive but use the key to teleport and the key to zoom. Hoping it works like the rift.

On the Vive I’ve found that after I enter the currently-broken sketchfab VR mode if I switch the viewer to First Person (Gear Icon > Navigation > First Person) I usually land in a part of the scene where controller navigation mostly works. Just don’t try to resize the scene with the controller.

Same problem with me in Vive. The floor is very high, at waist level. I tried a work around moving floor and doesnt work very well. I will wait for the fix/update.
