VR Starting Position and World Scale Ignored?

I have a test scene where I have repeatedly set the world scale and VR starting position, but each time I go to view in VR, the camera starts outside of the room and the room only comes up to my waist.

I’m using a WMR headset (Lenovo Explorer).

As a side request, smooth locomotion would be extremely helpful. Also, changing the world scale with my controller is mostly just causing problems when I accidentally scale the world to one extreme or the other by touching the touch pad.
