  • Additive Blend Mode for transparency. This is especially useful for Tilt Brush models.

From the Unreal Engine Documentation:

The Additive Blend Mode simply takes the pixels of the Material and adds them to the pixels of the background. This is very similar to the Linear Dodge (Add) Blend Mode in Photoshop. This means that there is no darkening; since all pixel values are added together, blacks will just render as transparent. This Blend Mode is useful for various special effects such as fire, steam, or holograms.

    The number of unique materials, meshes, and bones in a scene can really affect viewer performance. Until now, these things needed to be optimized before uploading. Starting today, we do a lot in the front-end viewer to optimize the scene:
    • Merge identical/similar materials
    • Merge meshes that share a material
    • If your GPU supports it (most do), allow meshes to exceed 64k vertices
    • Split rigs larger than 34 bones (no more bone limitation on iOS!)

  • Shows a warning when adding the maximum number of annotations
